Description

The light of love!

A beautiful tulip from a bouquet of flowers my friend sent me (from across the Atlantic ocean I have to say!) :aww: I'm so thankful... it was part of a present my friend sent me as a congratulations for completing all my course requirements for my PhD :D (Yeah, there are a certain number of courses we have to take in the PhD program and I have completed them  so, YAAAAAAY! No more courses to take in my life... EVER!!! :excited:  :excited: )

So, the title of this picture and the atmosphere has another meaning for me. Sure, I am endlessly thankful for my friend's kindness and generosity - isn't it wonderful getting flowers? :D but this shot has many other (important) meanings for me, too  I purposely worked on the atmosphere of this shot and the simplicity of it, as well. Letting the overall effect give meaning to the piece. I hope I have succeeded  If I have, please let me know! :cuddle:

Those who know me will know why :) If you're still confuzzled don't hesitate to ask me.

I hope you enjoy this. I hope to share this lovely piece with you :)

I swear some deviations weren't in your gallery last time I looked :paranoid:
Maybe it was just 3am and I didn't notice because of tiredness.. I swear.

Anyways great shot! Love the lighting used, and great use of focus. Excellent job!
